Luton campus redevelopment project

The University has recently invested £60m into its main campuses in Bedford and Luton, and over the next three years the University of Bedfordshire will be investing an additional £70m in redeveloping facilities at the Luton campus. This huge modernisation will take place over a number of years, and phase one is expected to be completed in the Academic Year 2010-11.

The first steps of this multi-million pound redevelopment will include the building of a new Campus Centre, right in the heart of the Luton campus, which will be ready for use in September 2010. This central building will act as a base for a whole range of student services, which will be easily accessible to all of our students.

The new development will give the university a real ‘community feel’ and will benefit both our staff and students as well as Luton itself.
