The new Development and Alumni Relations (DARO) team started life in 2006 and comprises 3 full–time members of staff. The DARO office is based at Vicarage Street, on the Luton campus.
Greg’s role is to manage the Development and Alumni Relations Office, with a particular emphasis on relationship building and fundraising from trusts, charities, businesses and individuals.
His background is in business development activity at the University of East Anglia, the University of Lincoln and here at the University of Bedfordshire.
Ian's role involves managing all aspects of alumni relations for the University, in print and online. He has substantial experience in student records and database systems and looks after the alumni database.
Prior to joining the University Ian worked for 5 years at local homeless people charity, Noah.
Paula has recently joined the University after working for more than 13 years in the telecommunications industry. She now works with the Development and Alumni Relations Office and the Partnership Team.
She spends most of her free time running around after her two children, taking them to their various clubs, activities and an increasing number of parties!
