"I am a therapist for M-Sport, the Ford World Rally Team."
Emma realises how lucky she is - she's doing the job she loves and travelling the world at someone else's expense. "Perfect!" she said.
When she graduated from Luton with her honours degree in Sports Therapy and the London School of Sports Massage Diploma, she opened her own Sports Injuries and Remedial Massage Centre in Carlisle where she lives.
She explained: "While running the clinic, I was fortunate enough to work with the swimmers at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester.
At the beginning of the year I sold the clinic and began working for M-Sport, the Ford World Rally Team. The job is fantastic and I get to travel around the world throughout the year, training with and treating our three drivers and co-drivers."
On her time at Luton, Emma said: "It was brilliant - my lecturers were great - more like friends than authority figures."
As well as giving her the qualifications she needed to do her job, Emma said going to university gave her lots more confidence.
Emma and her classmates set themselves a major challenge while at Luton, as, alongside their degree course they studied for the newly-created London School of Sports Massage Diploma.
This three-year course was introduced at the end of their first year, which meant they had to cram three years' work into just two.
"Our lecturers were great, though. They helped me through the huge extra workload, and I achieved the diploma as well as my degree. Now I'm so glad I did!"
Interview took place in 2003.
