Jonathan is currently working as the Business Development Manager for Illuminat Jamaica an arm of Neal and Massy, the largest group of companies in the Caribbean.

“The best thing about my Internet Technology course was that it was current, practical and relevant to the world of technology. The University of Bedfordshire (Luton campus) is a great place to gain practical knowledge for the working world.”

“The lecturers have close ties to industry and can provide the most current information on the areas of study. The town is quiet, friendly, close to London, but far enough away to allow you to focus on your studies which is a great combination.”

Jonathan chose The University of Bedfordshire (Luton campus) because it was ideally situated between London and Birmingham. He had family and friends in both cities, but wanted to experience life and live away from home.

Since leaving university Jonathan has worked as a Geographical Information Systems (GIS) analyst at Spatial Innovation Ltd. While working there he developed and maintained their website (putting his degree to good use). He later became the network administrator, and developed website interfaces for Geographical Information Systems applications as a Global Positioning Systems (GPS) technical resource. Jonathan left and entered into sales as a representative for Illuminat to forward his career.

“My degree has aided me in my career and has shown me different avenues, to be innovative and bring new services, ideas and solutions to Illuminat. I hope to eventually start my own business in multimedia design and services.”

“My fondest memories of the University was my time in halls. I had a great time with my flat mates and still keep in contact with them.

“In my spare time I like to hang out with friends, playing basketball, going to the beach and designing.”
