“I chose Luton because it's not far from London, the cost of living in Luton is quite reasonable and it's also easy to find halal food. Its multiracial environment and friendly people captured my heart,” said Zuraidah.

“After graduating I got a job as an accounts executive in a construction company in my home town of Teluk Intan, Perak, Malaysia. My degree has been very useful and very relevant to what I'm doing now."

“I'm still in touch with most of my Malaysian friends who used to study at Luton. Every year we gather to reminisce and I also attend most of the functions organised by the University of Luton in Malaysia, such as the education fair and the alumni gathering."

“I would encourage potential students to study in Luton because it's a nice place to stay with a reasonable cost of living, it’s peaceful, multiracial and a place that'll provide memorable experiences.”
