This course is delivered at Barnfield Technology Centre, Enterprise Way, which is located north of Luton town centre.
Summary
This programme gives you the opportunity to participate in Oracle Certified Professional training at a leading UK Oracle academy.
The course comprises eight units, which cover the areas of web programming, multimedia, web design and web technology. You will learn to do programming using ColdFusion, ASP and PHP.
For our web development training we use Macromedia products.
You will be able to work in the state-of-the-art facilities at Barnfield College, which have been praised by OFSTED and the Department of Education for outstanding quality in teaching and resources.
Progression to the final year of a BSc (Hons) is possible.
Areas of study include:
Object oriented programming using Java
Web-based data modelling and database development
SQL programming for ColdFusion and ASP
Web-based technology
Introductions to computer hardware and networking

Entry requirements
A nationally recognised level 3 qualification in an artistic, graphical or computing discipline.
Applications are also welcome from mature entrants with alternative qualifications/experience.
