Lynne Reynolds, Visiting Lecturer in Criminology

My initial background is that of a qualified general nurse
with experiences of working in the UK and Germany.
I achieved my undergraduate degree in Criminology at the
University of Luton.
I also have several years of practical experience of working with offenders on probation in a variety of settings which include: Reporting groups, basic skills training, befriending and mentoring.
I have returned to the University of Bedfordshire as a
Visiting Lecture because of the positive experiences I received as a
student.
I am currently studying
for a Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education alongside
teaching upon several units.
These units include Contemporary Society, Social Explanations of a Divided Society and Welfare Systems.
Previous teaching experience consists of the following units: Introduction to Criminal Justice and Introduction to Criminology at the University of Westminster and University College Milton Keynes.
My research interests include the links between offending behaviour and dyslexia and the trafficking of babies.
