"I am now a European Sales and Marketing Manager."

Much-travelled and with a truly European education, Jordi chose to study further at Luton because of its international outlook and good location.

He said: “I liked the combination between practical and theoretical lectures. I had studied at three European universities previously, the Universitat of Vic (Spain), Girona International Graduate School (Spain), and the International School of Economics in Rotterdam (Holland)."

“The University of Luton was the one that was most focused on practical skills and this proved to be of great value when I was looking for a job."

“I am now European Sales and Marketing Manager for Panasonic’s vacuum cleaner division where I specialize in international marketing. I especially remember what I learned at Luton about corporate strategy and retail marketing, as these are directly relevant to my role now."

“After leaving Luton, my first job was as a key account manager in the largest Spanish utilities company, while I studied for an MBA. "

“Now I work for Panasonic. My main market is the United Kingdom where 40 per cent of our sales are achieved, and so I travel to the UK quite a lot.”
