Our most popular Science course is the BSc in Biomedical Science – covering a range of biological and molecular science topics that underpin modern medicine – accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Science.

There are also two research institutes housed within the faculty, namely the Institute for Research in Applicable Computing and the Research Institute for Media, Art and Design. The profile of external research funding is increasing significantly in each area, and detailed plans are already in place for the next Research Assessment Exercise.
