Building upon your skills and knowledge gained from your previous perioperative experience, this unit will enable you to utilise your knowledge, skills and practice to promote and develop integrated patient care within the perioperative care pathway.
You will explore critically the care environment, assess professional, organisational and management issues, and evaluate their impact on patient care and working practices within the perioperative environment.
You will conduct risk assessments and apply health and safety policies in a critical and evaluative manner.
You will be encouraged to develop a critical approach to professional enquiry and to apply current perioperative and management theories to practice.
Building upon your skills and knowledge gained from your previous perioperative experience and through a student centred approach to learning, this unit encompass the use of face to face, a synchronistic and online delivery.
