"Determinants of capital structure for non-financial Pakistani firms listed on Karachi Stock Exchange" supervised by Dr Sudesh Sangray.
Second supervisor: Professor Magdy Abdul-Kader.
Present research study is based upon quantifying the determinants of capital structure for non-financial Pakistani firms listed on Karachi Stock Exchange from 1998 to 2008. We are using pooled regression model on pooled data (450 non-financial firms listed on KSE and ten years of analysis) for estimating the effect of different independent variables (collateral value of assets, non-debt tax shield, growth, uniqueness, industry classification, size, volatility and profitability) on leverage (dependent variable) for the above mentioned period.
