Dr Ahson is a Chartered Accountant and teaches taxation and accounting. He has taught at several universities in USA, Australia and United Kingdom. He has also worked as a senior analyst in several FTSE 100 companies including Barclays Bank, Halifax Bank of Scotland and Yellow pages.

He also practises as a Chartered Accountant and specialises in the area of accounting and taxation. His research interests include tax policy and practice and he has published articles in many international journals.
