MingRu lectures on Finance related subjects, such as Investment and Financial Management in both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
She obtained her PhD in Economics from the University of Birmingham. Before joining the University of Bedfordshire, MingRu was a visiting lecturer (on MBA course) at Staffordshire University and a tutor in Applied Economics at the University of Birmingham for many years. She is also an experienced MSc supervisor.
Apart from her experiences in academia, MingRu has been working at a large investment bank in China, where she acquired her management experience. Her current research interests are in the area of financial economics, investment financial management and applied econometrics. In particular, she is interested in the stock market microstructure, the empirical analysis and modelling of share price movements using both time series and panel data.
