Robert Berry trained as an accountant with Grant Thornton and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Chartered Institute of Bankers (Institute of Financial Services) and Fellow of the Institute of Financial Accountants.

He is currently an examiner for a taxation association and an accountancy institute, a university lecturer in taxation and a published writer of taxation material.

He gained two first degrees in economics and accountancy, a teacher’s certificate and went on to complete a master’s degree in Revenue Law at King’s College London.

He is a managing director of an accountancy firm and taxation teaching company.
