Dr Mkumbuzi‘s professional and academic career spans the areas of accounting, finance, audit and governance. Dr Mkumbuzi has provided financial and management consulting services to various private, public and multinational enterprises.
He brings on board a wide range of commercial experience having been involved in research projects in both the developed and developing world and having had the opportunity to work with a multitude of cultures.
His current teaching areas include financial reporting, corporate governance and accountability and accounting at undergraduate and postgraduate level. His research areas examine financial reporting, corporate governance, intangible assets and corporate reputation.
