After a clinical career in acute children's nursing, I moved into nurse education in 2000, undertaking a Post Graduate Diploma in Nursing (Education).
My clinical background included children's emergency and intensive care and children's surgery and I particularly enjoy teaching around these subjects.
My clinical interests include children's pain management, surgical nursing, child protection and study skills, including numeracy.
I am based at Aylesbury and am link lecturer to acute children's areas in the Buckinghamshire circuit.
I teach on all sites at all stages of the pre-registration nursing course and for some post-registration courses.
