I joined the university in 2000 having previously gaining extensive experience in nursing management, and education at a range of different intuitions. This included being an anatomist at a chiropractic college.
I qualified as a nurse in 1985 having training at the Middlesex Hospital, London.
I obtained my BSc (Hons) in Human Biology from Loughborough University and an MSc in Nursing from the University of Liverpool.
I teach a range of students both pre and post registration. This mainly focuses upon critical care, and the application of pathophysiology to clinical practice.
My research interests reflect my biological background.
