Mark is course leader for BA (Hons) Animation.
Mark has worked in animation, fashion illustration and brand
development in Paris, Birmingham and Brighton.
Examples of his work include the brand illustration for London Florist Moyses Stevens.
He was previously a senior lecturer in animation at the Arts
University College Bournemouth.
He
completed his MA Animation studies at the Royal College of Art in 2001.
His animated films ‘West Pier’ and ‘Alphabetic’ have been screened on television, and at a number of international animation festivals (and are available on You Tube).
His current academic research focuses on The Human
Condition, Content for Narrative and Issues of Representation in
Animation. He is now developing practice in puppetry.
His industry contacts include animators from Pixar and Aardman.
