Noel
is an artist and designer who works across a range of media. He
completed an MA in Computer-Related Design at the Royal College of Art
in London and also holds a BA in Fine Art.
He has worked at
Kingston University, London South Bank University, the Slade School of
Art and the Royal College of Art as well as maintaining a freelance art
and design studio with clients such as Mediamatic in Amsterdam,
Phillips Research, SkyTV, EasyJet, The Guardian, Private Eye and the
Stop the War campaign.
Alongside commercial work he
continues working on a range of arts based projects which have included
a residency using Europe's largest slide projection system at Ars Electronica in Linz, Austria and the bestselling satirical pack of playing cards Regime Change Begins At Home which have sold over 30,000 copies in the US, Europe and Japan.

He exhibits regularly, most recently as a finalist in the 2010 International Poster Biennial at the Wilanów Museum in Warsaw, and was one of the artists in the 2008 Taipei Biennial
in Taiwan.
His work is part of the permanent collection of the British
Museum and has toured Asia and Africa as part of the 'Protest' show put
on by the British Council.
He curated a group show Signs of Revolt
at the Truman Brewery in London in November 2009 which surveyed the
last decades best politically engaged work and included participating
artists and designers such as Jonathan Barnbrook and Peter Kennard.
He recently worked with the Greater London Authority, Unison, Natfhe
and the T&G unions as an organiser of a 3-day cultural programme
for the European Social Forum attended by 24,000 people.
He writes regularly for cultural publications such as Eye the International Journal of Graphic Design and his publications include, as Editor Website Graphics Now (Thames and Hudson 1999), and as Art Director, Stop the war: the story of Britain's largest mass movement (2005) and the popular Rebel's Guides series (2006/7) and his work has been featured in numerous articles and publications such as Adbusters magazine (Canada), Atlas magazine (USA), Art Monthly, Blueprint, Dazed and Confused, The Economist, The Guardian, Malababa (Spain), Mute, NME and Time Out.
