Dean: Professor James Crabbe profile

The Bedfordshire Institute of Media and the Creative & Performing Arts aims to produce world-class practitioners for the creative industries.

We provide students with excellent facilities, innovative courses and committed teaching by professional practitioners and established experts.

Our courses

Our courses are designed to bring out your full creative potential and provide a dynamic environment in which tomorrow's film makers, journalists, artists, actors, dancers, scriptwriters and designers work alongside each other.

We ensure that our courses are specifically tailored to meet the needs of our students and are geared towards fully equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed and secure employment after graduating.

We have strong links with industry including international companies such as JVC, and national organisations such as the BBC.

Students benefit from our proximity to London, home to national and international media companies, galleries and performance venues.
