The Bedfordshire Institute of Media and the Creative & Performing Arts aims to produce world-class practitioners for the creative industries.

Our courses are designed to bring out your full creative potential and provide a dynamic environment in which tomorrow's film makers, journalists, artists, actors, dancers, scriptwriters and designers work alongside each other.

We have strong links with industry including international companies such as JVC, and national organisations such as the BBC.

Lecturers provide students with the latest, and most up to date information, skills and techniques and knowledge (drawn from their own working experiences) that are needed in order to break into this competitive industry.
We have a first-class research culture within the Research Institute for Media Art and Design
With a mature research base in media and highly active exhibition and performance culture in performing arts, the Institute welcomes applications for Masters by Research and PhDs.
We can offer research specialisms in new media research; cross-media integration; political communication, journalism; sport and the media; community radio; performing arts, and creative writing.
