The Department of Business Systems offers innovative Business related under-graduate and post-graduate courses at the Bedford, Luton and Putteridge Bury campuses. Our courses are highly vocational, designed with and linked to employers, and enhance students’ career opportunities.

The staff are well qualified and bring a wealth of educational and business experience to provide an engaging and supportive learning environment, based in unique teaching spaces, such as the Business Pods. In the National Students’ Survey students rated ‘Business’ at the University of Bedfordshire 12^th in the country.

The Department has international links with institutions in China, Singapore and Hong Kong.

Departmental staff are actively engaged in research and scholarship in information systems, e-business, knowledge management, project management, supply chain management and logistics. More information about research and research student supervision in the department can be found in the Business and Information Systems Research Centre (BISC) which sits within the department.
