David lectures for undergraduates in Operations Management. In addition to that, he is developing web-based course material for the University of Bedfordshire’s Distance Learning MBA Operations Management unit. He has also developed unit material for Managing Operations for Logistics and Supply.
Before coming to the University of Bedfordshire, David worked as an Associate Lecturer in several institutions, such as Oxford Brookes University, Buckingham University and Northampton University.
Quite interesting is the fact that David wanted to tie his career with chemical engineering. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Chemical Engineers and even has a PhD degree in this subject. Apart from that, he has also completed an MBA course at the University of Warwick.
David spent quite a lot of time at PowerGen. He started as a European Market Analyser and grew to PowerGen Business Development Manager. He developed PowerGen strategy for a portfolio of innovative technology ventures, managed commercial projects and helped to set-up Wavedriver JV.
David's current interests lie in services operations management.
