Dr Fiaz Hussain, Senior Lecturer, Undergraduate Field Manager, HEIF Employer Partner & Business Development Manager
Dr Fiaz Hussain was awarded a PhD in the area of Computer Graphics from Brunel University. He has an MSc from the University of Nottingham and a BSc (Honours) from the Hatfield Polytechnic (now called University of Hertfordshire).
Fiaz joined the Department in September 2001 and is the Pathway Leader for BSc Internet Computing, as well as Module Leader for several courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. He was the MSc Thesis Co-ordinator for 3 years, until September 2004.
He currently divides his professional time between teaching, research, employer links and opportunities and international student recruitment.
In his spare time, Fiaz enjoys playing active sports like football and table-tennis. He undertakes a number of volunteering activities to support and help those less fortunate in society.
