Pam Banks

Senior Lecturer in Education

I have been a primary teacher and headteacher in rural Wales, a teacher trainer and a local authority teaching and learning consultant.  I am a perpetual student, enjoying taking courses each year in a new area (most recently Psychology and Classics).

When I am not babysitting my grandchildren I sing on the back row of the chorus in amateur dramatic productions.  Primary teaching has in my opinion provided a perfect preparation for all of these pursuits.

I currently lead the MA Education and Masters in Teaching and Learning postgraduate programmes.
