Principal Lecturer in the Department of Education Studies
Dr Wright has been with the University since 1991, teaching on a variety of degrees.
He has a keen interest in the recruitment of students to university and works closely with admissions teams at the University, often going into schools and colleges to give presentations on university applications or other aspects of the process of getting into the programme of choice.
Dr Wright is also Lead Moderator for Access programmes for older learners, with the Open College Network, East Midlands region, again advising on entry to Higher Education and quality issues.
Currently, Academic Director Undergraduate Education Studies, he is also Leader of the BA Education Studies course.
