The Faculty of Education, Sport and Tourism has strong links with numerous bodies to ensure the highest level of training possible is delivered. Our work in education partnerships is now leading the way in education practice in the region and has been recognised nationally as an example of good practice.
Margaret Rosamond, The Director of Partnerships, has been working with a number of different groups focusing on establishing partnerships that are long term and have a mutual benefit.
The partnerships have been strategically planned working with head teachers, local authorities and other members of staff in the University to ensure sustainability and community cohesion, around key areas of recruitment and retention.
