I have been teaching English as a Foreign Language since 1995, beginning with a period in Vietnam.
I spent three years teaching in North East China, including two years as Director of Studies.
I arrived at the University of Luton, as it then was, as a visiting Lecturer in EFL in 2000.
In 2003 I gained a permanent position here, and in 2005 became the Award Manager for International Foundation Courses and EFL.
I believe teaching and learning should be fun and attempt to propagate an informal and close atmosphere between staff and students within the department.
I am married to Cathy and we live in Luton.
In my spare time I travel, cook, read and support St. Albans City FC and Sussex CCC whenever possible.
