John Price holds a B.A. in Legal Studies and an M.A. in Business Law. He started lecturing in 1976 at Bedford College where he taught various legal topics. He was initially appointed as a Lecturer 1, promoted to Lecturer 2 and then to Senior Lecturer. He joined De Montfort University in 1994 and transferred to the University of Bedfordshire in 2006.
John is based on the Polhill Campus in Bedford where he is Co-ordinator for the LL.B. and lectures on the Criminal Law, Advanced Criminal Law and Legal Education and Practice units. He also lectures on the Business Management and Criminology degrees in Bedford.
His other duties include:
John’s professional interests include Business and Criminal Law and various contemporary criminological issues including obscene publications, miscarriages of justice, anti-social behaviour and prison overcrowding.
In his free time, John enjoys international travel and participating in various sports such as tennis and swimming.
