Senior Lecturer in Law

I joined the School of Law in September 2011 as a Senior Lecturer after having obtained my PhD in Financial Law at the University Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne. I am currently teaching Company Law (LLB) and Corporate Governance (LLM).

Research Supervision
I am happy to consider supervising students in any of my research interest areas, and in particular on the following topics:
- EU regulation of financial markets
- EU harmonisation of company law
- EU harmonisation of financial and non-financial reporting of listed companies
- Corporate and financial crimes and new ways of achieving the appropriate deterrent effect
- Comparative corporate governance
- CEO remuneration practices
- The relationship between sustainable development and listed companies
Research Projects
- PhD "The transparency of listed companies in EU Law", defended in 2010 at the University of Paris I (Panthéon-Sorbonne), received the PhD award Prix Solennel André Isoré from the Chancellery of Parisian Universities as well as a Special Grant by the Alexander S. Onassis Foundation
- Recent academic and research work addresses issues related to the supervision of Credit Rating Agencies by the ESMA, the European developments in CEO remuneration, the financial penalties imposed by the French FSA (AMF) and the debate between Soft law and Hard Law in the regulation of financial markets
