Kathryn joined the University of Bedfordshire in 2006 after a long career in the TV industry as a Director working on a wide variety of programmes.
Her BBC directing credits include News and Current Affairs, Factual and Magazine programmes such as Breakfast Time, Crimewatch UK and The Clothes Show, and several Children’s series including Jackanory, Playschool, Record Breakers, Teletubbies and BAFTA Award-winning Tweenies.
Kathryn’s ITV/C4 directing credits include Factual, Entertainment and Dramatic Reconstruction series such as Weekend World, Diana Princess of the People, Drivers from Hell, First Edition, The Six O'Clock Show, Michael Winner's True Crimes, Crime Monthly, Strange but True, One in a Million, Britain's Most Wanted, and The Stunts and Stars of London's Burning.
Since 2003 Kathryn has been involved with Teachers’ TV, producing/directing
programmes for this Award-winning digital channel which specialises in Education.
Presenters she has worked with include Chris Tarrant, Danny Baker, Penny Smith, Nick Ross, Michael Aspel, Selina Scott, Paul Ross and Hermione Cockburn; Kathryn also trains TV Presenters for mainstream and digital TV channels.
Kathryn has a BA Hons in Drama from Bristol University, and is an Associate of the Higher Education Academy.
