Barbara Czarnecka

Profile

Barbara Czarnecka, Lecturer, MA/BA, MSc, PhD

Barbara joined the University in 2009 as a lecturer in marketing. Previously she taught at the Middlesex University and BPP Business School, London.

Barbara travelled across the world with her work. She was a researcher at the Freeman Business Information (London), an international affairs trainee at the Embassy of Poland in Washington DC (USA), and in Mumbai (India) Barbara took the role of an international management trainee at the Nisargadatta Foods.

Research

Barbara's principal research interests lie in the field of cross-cultural values and communication and how these influence consumer behaviour and marketing communications.

She is currently investigating the differences in advertising from four European countries and the consumers’ responses to culturally congruent and incongruent advertising stimuli as part of her PhD.
