Dr Carmine Franco De Vita

Profile

Dr Carmine Franco De Vita, Senior Lecturer

Dr Carmine Franco De Vita is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Marketing. He is the Unit Coordinator at postgraduate level for Marketing, Marketing Communications and Society and on undergraduate programmes the Unit Coordinator for Public Relations Management and Career Development for Marketing (PR Pathway).

Carmine completed his MSc degree in Marketing and Product Management at Cranfield Institute of Technology and went on to gain a PhD in Marketing Management at Cranfield University. In 2008, Carmine also graduated with an MA in Applied Linguistics at the University of Bedfordshire.

Carmine was a Visiting Professor in European School of Economics and Southern Denmark Business School and most recently at the European School of Economics in London. He acted as an External Examiner at the University of Liverpool, at Guildhall / London Metropolitan University and is currently an External Examiner at the University of Hertfordshire.

Industrial, Commercial and Consultancy Experience

Carmine started his commercial experience in the service sector as a Public Relations Account Executive. He was promoted to Marketing Manager and went on to become the Marketing Director.

He has also worked in a variety of manufacturing sector companies as a Director of Communications and a Marketing and Public Relations Consultant.
