David has worked with the University for the past seven years; initially as a Visiting Lecturer before becoming a member of staff in 2006.
He currently teaches all aspects of Marketing Communications, as well as Marketing Basics for the first-year joint degrees.
Having spent 25 years working with London advertising agencies on the account
handling side David then moved to consultancy where he specialised in
marketing, leadership development and change-management.
Throughout these years he taught part-time on professional courses including at Birmingham Polytechnic, College for the Distributive Trades, London Institute and Cambridge Marketing College.
David is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing
(FCIM) and Fellow of the Communication, Advertising & Marketing Foundation
(FCAM).
He is an Examiner for the Marketing Communications paper of the Diploma in Marketing run by CIM and Senior Examiner for the Advertising paper of the CAM Diploma.
David’s current interests lie in the area of buyer behaviour.
