I began my training at Impington International Sixth Form Centre, Cambridge. Then I went on to gain a BA Hons in Performing Arts – Dance from Middlesex University in 2001.
In 2002, I was the first foreign performer to dance with Lithuanian based Aura Sokia Danz Theatre in their 30 year history during a tour of the Baltic States and Sweden.
Since then I have constantly worked as a Dance Artist/ choreographer/ performer with eXtant Performance Company, Vitamin G, Pasgetti Dance Company, 28 Degrees (Wales) and Ersatz Dance Company.
I am also the artistic Director of base dance, a double world record breaking innovative performance company which perform across the UK. Base dance's choreography fuses contemporary, urban and physical theatre styles with advanced contact work creating highly energetic and powerful performances.
The company has built a strong profile for its accessible approach to its work and has expertise in integrating new media and technological elements within its performance and education work.
In 2008 I joined the lecturing staff at University of Bedfordshire, where I am currently a Lecturer in Dance.
I lecture on both the BA Dance and Professional Practise and the BA Performing Arts undergraduate courses. This includes contemporary dance technique classes, choreography and Dance and Innovation (dance for camera and virtual space interactivity)
