Sadie Hunt

Acting Course Leader and Lecturer in Dance

Sadie Hunt

Before joining the University in 2009, I worked as a community dance artist and as a dance educator in the secondary state system. 

I am the founder and artistic director of Shunt Dance Company, and have worked extensively within the dance community for companies such as:  NDTA (National Dance Teachers Association), YDE (Youth Dance England), DanceDigital, Street Cred and the Bedfordshire Youth Service, The Transition and Intervention Trailblaizer Project, Marsh Farm Learning Community, Peculiar Productions, The Open University, The Laban Guild and numerous primary and secondary schools and colleges. 

I am the head of the Junior Research Institute and a Bedfordshire Teaching Fellow and also one of the co-directors of the annual dance festival hosted at the University, SifDans.
