PhD Student, Visiting Lecturer
My main research focus is work commitment, although I am also interested in work psychology generally. I am also interested in the healthcare and social care professions, and the experiences of those training for said professions. My PhD thesis examined work commitment and training experiences in students training for caring professions, with the aim to identify ways to promote retention. I have experience of using both quantitative and qualitative methods in the course of my PhD programme of research. I have taught within the department since November 2009.
