Psychometric test library

Please note that the tests listed here are only available to students and lecturers from the Psychology Department, University of Bedfordshire.

To access and use the psychometric tests listed discuss your requirements with your supervisor or module co-ordinator first. Following this, place your request with Paul Cavendish. Please specify the title of the project, the purpose of the test and the number of copies you need. Paul will not issue the test until he has confirmed the request with your supervisor or module co-ordinator.

During term time, the test library will be open all day Monday to Friday. Outside term time please arrange an appointment. If you want to borrow test library materials (test manuals or test catalogues) please come to Room A215 on the above days or fill in a request form and put it into Paul Cavendish's pigeonhole in the department office. Test manuals are available for overnight loan only.

PLEASE DO NOT LEND OR GIVE ANY OF THE TESTS YOU BORROW TO ANOTHER PERSON. A NUMBER OF REGULATIONS, SUCH AS USER QUALIFICATIONS AND COPY RIGHT REGULATIONS, APPLY TO PSYHOMETRIC TESTS. STUDENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO USE TESTS FOR ASSESSMENT PURPOSES. THEY CAN ONLY USE THEM FOR RESEARCH.

If you want to order a test which is not in the test library you must first discuss your requirements with YOUR supervisor and Dr. Candan Ertubey. Tests usually consist of expensive batteries and require special knowledge. Each order normally takes between 6 to 9 weeks depending on the location of the suppliers. An enquiry for a test required for your dissertation has to be made before at the end of January latest. Any request after that will not proceed.

NOTE THAT THESE PSYCHOMETRIC TESTS BELONG TO THE DEPARTMENT AND NOT TO ANY INDIVIDUAL. IF ANY PART OF THE TEST IS LOST OR DAMAGED WHILE IT IS IN YOUR POSSESSION YOU WILL BE LIABLE TO PAY THE COST OF REPLACING IT.
