Dean Wilkinson, Lecturer in Criminal Psychology

Dean Wilkinson

Dean obtained a First Class Honours degree in Psychology and Sociology from Birmingham City University in 2007, and then began his PhD (still at Birmingham City University) exploring the complex links between Schizophrenia, schizotypy and their impact on reasoning about violent crime and criminal behaviour.

Whilst undergoing his PhD, Dean has been involved in a small scale research project assessing the impact of a music based prison project ‘Good vibrations’ on prisoner’s rehabilitation.
