Head of Technical Services for the Division of Science
My background is in immune cell signal transduction. As the senior lab manager for the Division of Science I am responsible for overseeing and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the laboratories of the Division of Science.
My broad remit includes ensuring that the Division is health and safety compliant for work undertaken in both the student practicals and the research labs.
In addition to overseeing the day-to-day running of the labs it is the responsibility of the technical team to oversee the laboratory practical training and guidance of the science students of the University of Bedfordshire.
I have a superb team who help me to achieve these duties with Patrick Kelly being primarily responsible for undergraduate practicals while I oversee the postgraduate laboratory experience.
Other members of the team who facilitate the efficient running of the laboratories include Roy Woods, Sanjeevi Balakrishnan, Khadar Dudekula and Emma Amir-Ebrahimi.
