PGCE/Certificate in Post-Compulsory Education (DTLLS)

Post Compulsory Education

The PGCE/Certificate in Education (Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector) is a recognised teaching qualification for staff in all areas of post-16 education.

It can be taken at two levels, the Certificate of Education or the PGCE, both of which lead to Qualified Teacher: Learning and Skills (QTLS) following registration with the Institue for Learning (IfL).

The course can be studied part-time over two years and is available at our partner colleges:
