Post-Compulsory Education Course Leader
Peter has a background in vocational Further Education.
Apart from his own Cert Ed, he holds an Advanced Diploma in FE, MA in Education Management (Leicester) and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Peter has been at the University for twelve years.
He has a particular interest in Key Skills in Higher Education; he was a member of De Montfort University’s Key Skills project team and maintains an active role in this development.
Peter's research interests lie in assessment and action research and he has also been involved in consultancy and Quality Assurance roles for other national organisations.
Peter has been a subject reviewer for the Quality Assurance Agency and acts as an external examiner for several other universities.
