Larry Leverenz
has been a member of the Purdue faculty and staff since 1991. In addition to
his academic duties, Leverenz works as an athletic trainer with Purdue
Athletics.
He has worked with football, baseball, women's basketball, and tennis. He served for 13 seasons as the athletic trainer for men's basketball.
Dr. Leverenz holds the academic rank of
Clinical Professor in the Department of Health and Kinesiology, and he serves
as Director of Athletic Training Education.
He has served professionally as a
member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association Education Council and as
president of the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education
Programs.
He currently serves as Chair of the WFATT Education Committee.

Richard DeMont is an Associate Professor of Athletic Therapy within the Department of Exercise Science at Concordia University in Montréal, Canada. Richard is also the president - elect of the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association (CATA), and was actively involved in building the mutual recognition agreement with the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA).
Prior to this position, he served as the Chairperson of the Program Accreditation Committee, which is responsible for ensuring educational programs meet the curricular standards for Athletic Therapy education.
Richard has also been honoured for his research. One is the highest honour from the CATA, and the other is the runner-up award from the NATA.
They are for "Muscle Pre-activity of ACL Deficient and Reconstructed Females During Functional Activities," published in the Journal of Athletic Training.
He was a co-author on the winning manuscript of the NATA competition, "Reactive Muscle Firing in ACL Injured Females During Functional Activities," also published in the Journal of Athletic Training.

Gene Verel is the chair of the NATA International Committee and also vice-president of the World Federation of Athletic Training and Therapy.
Gene has been active in Athletic Training for over 30 years, and serves as a consultant to a number of companies in addition to her international roles with the NATA and WFATT.

Dr. McCaffrey oversees the Athletic Therapy and Training course at Dublin City University, and is the Medical Director, ExWell Medical, also located at DCU. Dr. McCaffrey has been developing the Athletic Therapy and Training course at DCU, and has collaborated with both the NATA and CATA in his drive to develop a premier educational program for Athletic Therapy
Carlos Martinez is the sports physiotherapist for Real Madrid and has been involved in the care of a variety of athletes in Spain.
The provision of health care to athletes in Spain is divided between sports nurse and sports physios, and he brings an insight into the academic preparation of these fields, in addition toa description their daily activities and skills necessary to succeed in these fields.

In 2001, Tim joined University of Luton and since then he has helped re-structure the sports therapy modules within the BSc program. Tim is currently the Award Leader for the Sports Therapy degree program and module coordinator.
Tim has worked as a sports therapist providing sports therapy training for over 15 years.
He formed the Academy of Sports Therapy UK in 1994 and Sports Therapy UK in 2001 offering specialist training courses in sports therapy.
Tim has a keen interest in rugby and retired as a veteran player in 2003. He has written “The Complete Guide to Sports Massage” (2000) and in 2002 completed his Masters degree with Middlesex University in sports therapy training.
Lesley is the programme Director in Sports Rehabilitation at St. Mary’s University, in Twickenham. In addition, she is the Education and Training Officer for the British Association of Sports Rehabilitation and Therapy (BASRaT).
With involvement in one of the leading professional Sports Therapy organizations, Lesley has a particular interest in seeing the field of Sports Therapy develop as an Allied Health profession.
