Debbie Naudi

Profile

Debbie Naudi, Lecturer

Debbie Naudi

Debbie graduated in Psychology with Management as a subsidiary area at the University of Malta. She then came to the UK and successfully completed an MSc in Work and Organisational Psychology at the University of Hull. Following this she went back to Malta and worked in industry for 2 years. During this time she realised that although there is substantial knowledge of motivation methods at work, it is rarely implemented effectively. This led her to apply for a PhD at Loughborough University and carry out research on motivation.

Debbie’s PhD focused on the concept of Goal Orientations within the area of motivation. Debbie’s research interests include motivation at work, leadership and motivation, organisational development and change, organisational learning, and performance and reward in organisations. She has carried out both quantitative and qualitative research in the past and is keen to use both in her research.

Debbie holds Level A and Level B (Intermediate) Certificates of Competence in Occupational Testing and is registered with the Psychological Testing Centre of the British Psychological Society. She is a graduate member of the British Psychological Society and a member of the British Academy of Management.
