The January deadline has now passed, but if you still wish to send your online application to UCAS, then we may still consider your application up until the 30 June, but only if we still have vacancies in the course(s) that you have selected. If you apply after 30 June, you will be entered into Clearing - more details are available on the UCAS website.
Most degree courses begin in September, although some courses may have earlier start dates, starting as early as January. When you send your application, make sure you allow enough time for us to consider your application.
If you are an international applicant for a September start you should apply before the middle of August in order to have plenty of time to apply for your visa.
Many of our courses also have start dates in November, April and January/February. For those intakes, we advise you to apply at least six weeks before the start of the course to allow time to apply for a visa.
If you are applying via UCAS from outside the UK or EU, we will consider your application up until 30 June.
In all cases, please remember to allow enough time for entry clearance or immigration; also travel and accommodation arrangements, which can take longer during the summer when immigration departments are busy.
If you’re thinking of taking a year out before starting your course, check with your chosen universities that they will accept a deferred entry application.
If you apply for deferred entry to start your course in 2013, you must still apply by the relevant deadline above.
If you accept a place on to a course starting in 2013, you cannot reapply through UCAS in the 2013 cycle, unless your original application is withdrawn.
