The University of Bedfordshire has been actively marketing its programmes in India for over 10 years. There are almost 200 Indian students studying at undergraduate, postgraduate and research levels at the University of Bedfordshire.

Whilst the majority of Indian students opt to study postgraduate programmes, there is a growing demand for undergraduate study, especially among students who seek advance standing through credit transfers.


There are a number of reasons why many Indian students choose to study at the University of Bedfordshire. They are:

The University is currently negotiating a number of collaborative links with major partner institutions in India. These links will take the form of joint delivery of academic programmes, credit transfer arrangements and student / staff exchanges and career developments. International Office - India team

The India team is here to help you and offers a comprehensive 'one stop' service to students from India.

Our role includes:

  • Advice and counselling for you and your parents on all aspects of study in Bedfordshire including courses, tuition fees and available scholarships and making an application to study with us;
  • Information and practical details about living in Bedfordshire including finding somewhere to live, how to get here and what happens when you arrive;
  • Answering your questions about the towns of Bedford and Luton and student life here;
  • Providing opportunities to meet a member of staff when they visit India for information and advice on your application to the University of Bedfordshire;

You may have already met us during one of the many visits we make to India throughout the year. If you haven't met us yet, then we hope you will.
