Whilst there are proposed changes to the fee structure from the academic year 2012, students from England studying for a first degree or other higher education qualification will not have to pay for their tuition whilst they study.
(Please note that our website will be updated during the next few months as more information is made available.)
Also see Frequently asked questions.
All eligible students may apply to the Student Loans Company for a tuition fee loan to support their studies and you will only start to pay back when you are earning over £21,000 per year.
The Government is introducing a National Scholarship Programme from 2012 to help students from lower income households.
The scheme will provide funding for a number of students who fall within this category and for the first year of study students will be eligible for a scholarship of £3,000. This may be used to offset the cost of rent in the halls of residence, or other essentials and up to £1,000 is available in cash.
The Government will announce the number of students who are eligible for this scholarship in due course and the University of Bedfordshire has taken a decision to match the number with the same £3,000 scholarship.
These changes to tuition fees applicable from AY 2012 do not apply if you commenced your studies during or prior to the academic year 2010-11.
