Student Fees Loan
Students can borrow all or part of their tuition fees from the Student Loans
Company (SLC).
The SLC will pay the fee directly to the University on the student's
behalf.
The repayment threshold for EU students is calculated by the Student Loans company to take into account different living costs.
Please visit the Student Loans Company for full details for the country you will reside in once you have completed your degree.
Am I Eligible?
EU students can apply for this financial help if:
- you are an EU national or a family member of an EU national
- you have been living within the EEA and Switzerland for the three years immediately before the start of your course
- your main reason for being in the EEA and Switzerland was not to receive full–time education
University of Bedfordshire Bursaries and Scholarships
The University of Bedfordshire offers some of the most generous
bursaries and scholarships in the country. Most UK/EU students that are starting
full-time undergraduate degree courses will be able to receive up to £4,262 in
financial support, and at the very least every student can receive
£319, regardless of family income. This amount is non-repayable, which
means that you don’t have to pay it back. See the scholarships and bursaries section for more details.
British School of Osteopathy Bursary (BSO)
The BSO scheme is for full–time home students who are charged the
full £3,145 tuition fees on the BSO programme validated by the University.
It consists of a non–repayable annual bursary of £500 to students
from households whose income has been assessed through the LEA/SLC process, as
less than £25,000. EU students will receive the statutory annual bursary of
£305.
