Students who started their studies in the Academic year 2010/11 will receive a non-means tested bursary of £338.
Students who apply for their bursary assessment via the Student Loans Company (SLC) and directly from the University of Bedfordshire, will receive payment by three instalments on the following dates:
If the information required to complete the means tested assessment is not received by the first week in November, the payment of the first instalment may be delayed. This also applies to second and final instalments.
The SLC is handling the administration of bursaries on behalf of the University and payments are made directly into your bank account on or around the dates quoted above.
Please arrange for your bank account details – sort code and account number – to be provided both to the SLC and the University at the earliest possible date.
This will ensure that there is no unforeseen delay.
Second degree students who apply directly to the University for the financial assessment and payment of their bursary, will receive payments in the same months – December, March and May.
However, payments will be made by the University and not via the SLC administration process.
