Partnerships Scholarship
Terms and Conditions for application
The Partnerships Scholarship is a financial incentive to students who have progressed onto a BA, BSc or BEd degree course from one of our Partner Colleges.
If you are a UK or EU student you could receive a scholarship of £338 during your first year of study at the University.
This scholarship is for students who have:
- a) progressed immediately from a Further Education course at a Partner College to a BA/BSc/BEd course at the University of Bedfordshire in the 2011/12 academic year for which the maximum allowable fee (£3,375) is charged to UK/EU students.
- b) progressed from a Foundation Degree at a Partner College to a top-up degree course at the University of Bedfordshire.
The Partnerships Scholarships are available to UK/EU fee paying students who meet the following eligibility criteria. You must:
- be on a full time BA/BSc/BEd degree;
- have progressed from one of the following Partner Colleges: Barnfield College, Bedford College, Castle College (Nottingham), Central Bedfordshire College, Grantham College, Leicester College, Luton Sixth Form College, Milton Keynes College, Oxford and Cherwell College, Tresham Institute (Kettering);
- be a new entrant to a University BA/BSc/BEd degree course for the 2011/12 academic year and paying the maximum allowable fee for UK/EU students or be progressing from a foundation degree at a partner college to a top up degree course at the University of Bedfordshire;
- be progressing without a break in your studies from a course at a Partner College that has been used as your entrance qualifications to your degree or top-up degree course.
To apply for a Partnership Scholarship you must complete the application form, complete with college stamp, and submit it to the address on the form by the closing date.
Your application will be verified and sent to the Scholarships and Bursaries Committee for approval.
You are not eligible for a Partnerships Scholarship if you are:
- an international fee-paying student;
- a student studying on a franchise course at another institution.
The closing date for applications is Friday 7 October 2011.
