BA Media Performance Auditions

1 March and 10 March at Luton campus

For applicants to the BA Hons in Media Performance

We are running *auditions for this course:

  • Thursday 1 March 2012, 14.00 - 16.00 in the Judith Blake Theatre
  • Saturday 10 March 2012, 11.00 - 13.00 in the Judith Blake Theatre

*NOTE: This audition is an entry requirement, and it gives you the opportunity to display your abilities and experience what it is like to present or perform before the camera. You will be invited to an audition once your application has been processed by UCAS and if you meet the other entry requirements.

For your audition, please select one of these options:

  • If you are interested in acting, prepare a monologue from a script of your choice (duration 1.30 minutes)

  • If you are interested in presenting, prepare a speech in which you will introduce yourself and respond to the following question: " Who do you want to be and why?" (duration 1.30 minutes)

  • 14.00 Introductory talk by members of staff in the Judith Blake Theatre (A013)
  • 14.15 Warm-up exercises in the Judith Blake Theatre (A013)
  • 14.30 Audition in the Judith Blake Theatre (A013)
  • 14.50 Interviews
  • 14.50 Question and answer session with our level 2 students in the Judith Blake Theatre (A013)
  • 15.45 Audition finishes
  • 15.45 Tour to view our facilities
